Description

This model consists of a diametrical magnetized disk in the origin of the coordinate system. The disk is supported on a shaft. On the x-Axis is a block of magnetic material that will disturb the magnetic field distribution of the disk. The model is set up parametric so that you can change all dimensions of the disk, shaft and shield.

For registered users there are two scripts in the download section below. The first will create the parametric model and then change in a do loop the orientation of magnetization of the disk and append these cases all to a solution database for the magneto static solver TOSCA.

The second post-processing script will allow you to define the position of a hall sensor and the plot the field values that this sensor will measure.
